So, what is peas?
Peas are small, spherical legumes that are commonly used in many cuisines around the world. They come in a variety of colors, including green, yellow, and black, and can be eaten fresh, frozen, or canned. With a slightly sweet and earthy flavor, peas are rich in essential nutrients like protein, fiber, and vitamins A, C, and K. They are also a good source of antioxidants, which help protect the body against damage caused by free radicals. Peas can be added to soups, stews, salads, and many other dishes to add a burst of color and flavor while also boosting their nutritional value.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
