So, what is sesame sticks?
Sesame sticks are small, crunchy, baked or fried savory snack crackers made primarily from flour and sesame seeds. They are produced by mixing wheat flour, water, vegetable oil, whole sesame seeds, and salt into a dough, which is extruded or cut into slender batons and subsequently deep-fried or baked until crisp. Additional seasonings such as garlic powder, onion powder, or turmeric are often incorporated for color and taste. On food labels, sesame sticks frequently appear as a composite ingredient in prepackaged trail mixes, bar snack mixes, and nut assortments.
sesame sticks is vegan because their core components are entirely of plant and mineral origin. The standard formulation relies exclusively on wheat flour, plant-derived cooking oils such as soybean or canola oil, sesame seeds, salt, and botanical spices. Animal-derived ingredients such as dairy products, eggs, animal fats, or animal-based seasonings are not used in conventional sesame stick recipes, confirming their status as a vegan ingredient.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
