So, what is sukros?
Sukros is a natural sweetening agent that is derived from the leaves of the Stevia plant. It has gained popularity as a healthier alternative to traditional sugar due to its low-calorie content and glycemic index. Sukros is approximately 300 times sweeter than sugar, which means that only small amounts are needed to achieve the same level of sweetness in food and beverages. Additionally, it does not cause tooth decay and has been shown to potentially have some health benefits, such as lowering blood pressure and aiding in weight loss. As a result, sukros is commonly used in various food products ranging from soft drinks to baked goods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
