So, what is swiss cheeses?
Swiss cheese, also known as Emmental, is a semi-hard cheese made from cow's milk. It has a pale yellow color with characteristic large holes or "eyes," which are formed during the fermentation process by carbon dioxide bubbles. Swiss cheese has a mild, nutty flavor and a slightly elastic texture that makes it ideal for melting. It is often used in sandwiches, fondues, and quiches. Swiss cheese is a good source of protein and calcium, and it is low in carbohydrates. It is also an excellent source of phosphorus, a mineral essential for strong bones and teeth.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
