So, what is albicocca?
Albicocca is the Italian word for apricot, a sweet and tangy fruit with a velvety skin and a soft, juicy flesh. Apricots are a member of the stone fruit family, which also includes peaches, plums, and cherries. They are commonly used in both sweet and savory dishes, from jams and desserts to sauces and marinades. Apricots are rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, potassium, and fiber, making them a healthy addition to any diet. They are also a good source of antioxidants, which can help protect the body against damage from harmful free radicals.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
