So, what is amidons modifie?
"Amidons modifie" is a term used to describe modified starches. These are starches that have undergone a chemical or physical treatment to change their properties, such as improving their thickening or gelling abilities, enhancing their stability or texture, or increasing their resistance to heat, acidity, or freezing. Amidons modifie are commonly used as food additives to improve the quality, shelf life, and functionality of various food products, such as sauces, soups, dressings, bakery items, dairy products, and snacks. They are typically derived from corn, potato, tapioca, or wheat, and are considered safe for consumption by regulatory agencies.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
