So, what is apple fibre?

Apple fibre, also known as apple pomace or apple pulp, is a byproduct of apple juice and cider production that is gaining popularity as a nutritional supplement. It is a type of dietary fibre that is made up of both soluble and insoluble fibres. Soluble fibre dissolves in water and helps regulate blood sugar levels and lower cholesterol, while insoluble fibre promotes regularity and helps keep the digestive system healthy. Apple fibre is also a source of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It can be added to smoothies, baked goods, and other foods to boost their fibre content and provide a range of health benefits.

How to quickly find the source of ingredients like apple fibre?

We've built a database of 49359 ingredients (and growing), classified as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "maybe vegan".

We use it in our vegan ingredients scanner, which is the best way to avoid non-vegan ingredients - you take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
