So, what is αρωματικό?
"Αρωματικό" is a Greek word that translates to "aromatic" in English. As a food ingredient, it refers to any herbs or spices that impart a distinct and pleasing smell to a dish. These can include common herbs like basil, thyme, and rosemary, as well as more exotic spices like cumin, coriander, and turmeric. Aromatics are often used to add depth and complexity to soups, stews, sauces, and marinades, and can also be used to season meats, vegetables, and grains. Their fragrant aroma and bold flavor can elevate even the simplest of dishes to new heights of deliciousness.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
