So, what is baie de?
Baie de is a French term for "berry of". It is often used to refer to a variety of berries such as baie de genièvre (juniper berry), baie de sureau (elderberry), and baie de goji (goji berry). These small fruits are packed with flavor and are known for their health benefits. Baie de genièvre is commonly used to flavor gin and other alcoholic beverages, while baie de sureau is used in jams, syrups, and wine. Baie de goji is considered a superfood due to its high antioxidant content and is often used in smoothies, granolas, and trail mixes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
