So, what is cabbage juice?
Cabbage juice is a nutrient-dense ingredient extracted from the cruciferous vegetable, cabbage. It has a mild and slightly sweet taste with a distinct earthy flavor that complements other ingredients in recipes. Cabbage juice is an excellent source of vitamins C and K, as well as folate and potassium. It also contains compounds known as glucosinolates, which have been shown to have anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting properties. This versatile ingredient can be used in various recipes, including smoothies, soups, dressings, and even cocktails, adding both flavor and nutrition.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
