So, what is carbonate de?
Carbonate de is a chemical compound that contains carbon and oxygen, often used as a food ingredient to enhance the texture, flavor, and appearance of various dishes. It is commonly found in baking powders, as it reacts with acidic ingredients to create carbon dioxide gas, which helps baked goods rise. Carbonate de is also used in the production of beverages, such as beer and soda, to provide carbonation. In addition to its culinary uses, carbonate de has a variety of industrial applications, including in the manufacture of glass, ceramics, and plastics.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
