So, what is cereja?
Cereja, known as "cherry" in English, is a small, fleshy fruit with a smooth, shiny skin that varies in color from deep red to almost black. This juicy fruit has a sweet and slightly tart taste and is often used in desserts, such as pies, cakes, and ice cream. It is also a popular ingredient in savory dishes, particularly in sauces for meat dishes. Cerejas are high in antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C, making them a nutritious addition to any diet. They are typically in season during the summer months and can be found in most grocery stores and farmers' markets.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
