So, what is cikória?
Cikória, also known as chicory, is a leafy vegetable with a slightly bitter taste and crunchy texture. The plant's roots are often roasted and ground to make a coffee substitute, while its leaves are commonly used in salads or cooked as a side dish. Cikória is a rich source of vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. It has also been traditionally used for medicinal purposes, particularly for its anti-inflammatory and liver-protective properties. Whether enjoyed raw or cooked, cikória is a versatile ingredient that adds a unique flavor and nutritional value to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
