So, what is cupric sulphate?

Cupric sulphate, also known as copper sulfate, is a naturally occurring inorganic salt that has a blue crystalline appearance. It is commonly used as a food ingredient in small amounts as a source of dietary copper, an essential mineral required for normal body function. Cupric sulphate is also utilized as a preservative and in some cases as a colorant to enhance the visual appeal of specific food products. However, excessive intake of cupric sulphate can cause adverse health effects such as stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Therefore, it should be consumed in moderation and under professional supervision.
