So, what is sal rosa?

Sal rosa, also known as Himalayan pink salt, is a type of rock salt that is mined from the Khewra Salt Mine in Pakistan. It gets its distinctive pink hue from the presence of trace minerals such as iron, magnesium, and potassium. Sal rosa has gained popularity among health enthusiasts due to its purported health benefits, including improved digestion and detoxification. It is also believed to have a more complex flavor profile than traditional table salt. Its large crystals make it ideal for use as a finishing salt or for seasoning grilled meats and vegetables.
