So, what is curcuma en?
Curcuma en, also known as turmeric, is a bright yellow spice commonly used in Indian, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisine. It comes from the root of the Curcuma longa plant, which is native to South Asia. Curcuma en has a warm and slightly bitter taste, with a distinct earthy aroma. In addition to its culinary uses, curcuma en is also known for its potential health benefits, as it contains curcumin, a natural anti-inflammatory compound. It's often used to add flavor and color to dishes such as curries, rice dishes, and soups.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
