So, what is cyclamate de potassium?
Cyclamate de potassium, also known as potassium cyclamate, is an artificial sweetener that is commonly used in various food products. It is a white, crystalline powder that has a sweet taste similar to sugar, but without the calories. Cyclamate de potassium is approximately 30 times sweeter than sugar and is often used in combination with other sweeteners to enhance their sweetness. This ingredient has been approved for use in many countries, including the United States, but it has been banned in some other countries due to concerns about its safety. However, many studies have found no evidence that cyclamate de potassium is harmful to human health when consumed in moderate amounts.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
