So, what is dwutlenek krzemu?
Dwutlenek krzemu is the Polish term for silicon dioxide, a naturally occurring compound found in rocks and minerals, as well as in living organisms like plants and animals. It's commonly used as an anti-caking agent in powdered foods to prevent clumping, and in supplements as a source of silica, which may have benefits for skin, hair, and nails. Silicon dioxide is also used in the manufacturing of glass, ceramics, and other products. While generally recognized as safe by regulatory agencies, excessive intake of silicon dioxide may have negative health effects.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
