So, what is écorces d' orange?
Écorces d'orange, also known as orange peel, are the fragrant outer skin of the citrus fruit. They are typically harvested from sweet oranges and are often used in cooking and baking to add a bright and zesty flavor to dishes. The peels can be candied, grated, or dried and ground into a powder for use in spice blends or as a garnish. The high concentration of essential oils in the peel also makes it a popular ingredient in teas, cocktails, and other beverages. Orange peel is a versatile ingredient that adds a burst of citrus flavor to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
