So, what is endivien?
Endivien, also known as endive or chicory, is a leafy vegetable with a slightly bitter taste and a crunchy texture. It is a member of the daisy family and is closely related to radicchio and escarole. Endivien has a distinctive appearance, with tightly packed leaves that form a rosette shape. The outer leaves are green, while the inner leaves are pale yellow or white. Endivien is a versatile ingredient that can be enjoyed both raw and cooked. It is often used in salads, as a garnish, or sautéed as a side dish. It is also a good source of vitamins and minerals, making it a nutritious addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
