So, what is enzimi?
Enzymes are protein molecules that act as catalysts in various biochemical reactions. They are essential components of many food processing and manufacturing industries, including baking, brewing, and cheese making. Enzymes can break down complex molecules, such as starches and proteins, into smaller, more easily digestible molecules. They can also modify the texture and flavor of food products. Some enzymes are naturally occurring in raw foods, while others are added during processing to enhance their functionality. Enzymes can be derived from a variety of sources, including plants, animals, and microorganisms, and are widely used in the food industry for their various benefits.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
