So, what is et du lait?
Et du lait is a French phrase that translates to "and milk" in English. Milk, being an incredibly versatile ingredient, is often used in a range of dishes and recipes, from creamy sauces to baked goods. It is a rich source of calcium, which is essential for strong bones and teeth, and contains essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D, potassium, and phosphorus. Whether enjoyed on its own or used in cooking, et du lait adds a delicious creaminess and depth of flavour to any dish it's used in.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
