So, what is etil-alkohol?
Etil-alkohol, also known as ethanol or ethyl alcohol, is a colorless, flammable liquid that is commonly used in food production, as well as in a wide range of other industries. It is produced through the fermentation of sugars and is found in many alcoholic beverages, such as beer, wine, and spirits. In the food industry, etil-alkohol is used as a solvent and a preservative, as well as a flavoring and coloring agent. It is also used as a fuel and as a component in the production of various chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Despite its many uses, etil-alkohol should be consumed in moderation due to its potential to cause harmful effects on the body when consumed in excess.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
