So, what is fenegriek?
Fenugreek, also known as "methi" in Hindi, is a herb with small, oval-shaped leaves that is commonly used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Its seeds have a slightly bitter, nutty flavor and are often used as a spice in curries, chutneys, and pickles. Fenugreek is also believed to have numerous health benefits, such as improving digestion, reducing inflammation, and increasing milk production in nursing mothers. In addition to its culinary and medicinal uses, fenugreek is also used in the cosmetic industry for its skin-soothing properties.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
