So, what is flax seeds
Flax seeds are small, shiny, and brownish-colored seeds that are packed with nutrients and health benefits. These tiny seeds are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fiber, lignans, and other essential nutrients that can improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and support heart health. They have a nutty and slightly sweet flavor that can be enjoyed on their own or incorporated into a variety of recipes such as smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, salads, and baked goods. Flax seeds can also be ground into a powder or used as a substitute for eggs in vegan baking recipes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
