So, what is safflowers?
Safflowers are a type of flower that produce seeds with numerous health benefits. The seeds are rich in healthy fats, antioxidants, and essential nutrients such as vitamin E. Safflower oil, derived from the seeds, has a mild taste and can be used in cooking, baking, and salad dressings. The flowers themselves are also edible and can be used to add color and flavor to dishes. Safflowers are easy to grow and are commonly found in gardens, making them a great addition to any home-grown pantry.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
