So, what is fromages bleu?
Fromages bleu, also known as blue cheese, is a type of cheese that has been aged with the mold Penicillium. This mold gives the cheese its distinctive blue or green veins and tangy flavor. Fromages bleu can be made from cow's, sheep's or goat's milk, and each variety has its own unique taste and texture. The cheese has a strong aroma and is often crumbly in texture, making it a popular choice for salads, dressings, and sauces. Fromages bleu pairs well with fruits such as grapes, pears, and apples, as well as sweet wines and port.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
