So, what is glükóz?
Glükóz, also known as glucose, is a simple sugar that is a primary source of energy for living organisms. It is a colorless and odorless crystalline substance with a sweet taste, and is commonly found in fruits, honey, and corn syrup. Glucose is essential for cellular respiration, which converts glucose into ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the energy currency of cells. In the food industry, glucose is used as a sweetener, as well as a thickener and stabilizer in products such as ice cream and candies. It is also an important ingredient in sports drinks and energy bars, as it provides a quick source of energy for athletes and people with high energy needs.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
