So, what is guanilato disodico?
Guanilato disodico, also known as disodium guanylate, is a flavor enhancer commonly used in the food industry to improve the taste of processed foods. It is a white crystalline powder that is water-soluble and highly stable. This ingredient is derived from dried fish, seaweed, and yeast extract, and is often used in conjunction with monosodium glutamate (MSG) to provide a more rounded umami flavor. Guanilato disodico is typically added to snacks, canned goods, soups, and sauces, and is also used in the production of instant noodles and other convenience foods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
