So, what is guaran?
Guaran, also known as guarana, is a plant native to the Amazon basin in South America. The seeds of the guaran plant contain a natural source of caffeine and have been used for centuries as a stimulant and medicinal herb by indigenous tribes in the region. Today, guaran is a popular ingredient in energy drinks, dietary supplements, and weight loss products. It is believed to boost metabolism, improve mental focus and alertness, and enhance athletic performance. In addition to its functional benefits, guaran has a slightly bitter taste and is often used as a flavoring agent in food and beverages.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
