So, what is isobutano?
Isobutano, also known as isobutane, is a colorless, odorless, and highly flammable gas that has found various uses in the food industry. As a propellant, it is commonly used to dispense whipped cream and other aerosol products. It can also be used as a solvent for natural flavors and extracts, allowing for their incorporation into different food products. However, due to its high flammability, isobutano must be handled with care and stored properly. Despite its potential hazards, isobutano remains a valuable ingredient in the production of many food products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
