So, what is lactoserum?
Lactoserum, also known as whey, is a byproduct of cheese production that is rich in protein and essential amino acids. It is pale yellow in color and has a slightly sweet taste. Lactoserum is commonly used in the food industry as an ingredient in products such as infant formula, sports drinks, and protein supplements. It has many health benefits, including helping to promote muscle growth and repair, improving digestion, and boosting the immune system. Additionally, lactoserum is a sustainable ingredient since it is derived from a waste product of the dairy industry.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
