So, what is lait coco?
Lait coco, also known as coconut milk, is a versatile and flavorful ingredient commonly used in many Southeast Asian and Indian cuisines. It is made by blending the grated flesh of mature coconuts with water and then straining the mixture to obtain a rich, creamy liquid with a distinctively sweet and nutty taste. Lait coco is an excellent alternative to dairy milk and is popularly used in curries, soups, smoothies, desserts, and cocktails. It is also a rich source of vitamins and minerals, including iron, magnesium, and potassium, making it a healthy and delicious addition to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
