So, what is lait de écrémé?
Lait écrémé, also known as skim milk, is a dairy product that has been processed to remove most of the fat content. With a creamy white appearance, it has a slightly thinner consistency than whole milk, yet still maintains a rich taste. Skim milk is an excellent source of protein, calcium, and vitamin D, making it a popular ingredient in many recipes. It is often used as a healthier alternative to whole milk in baking, cooking, and coffee drinks. Lait écrémé can also be enjoyed on its own as a refreshing and low-fat beverage.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
