So, what is lcarnitine?
L-carnitine is an amino acid-like compound found in red meat, poultry, and dairy products. It plays a crucial role in energy metabolism by transporting fatty acids into the mitochondria of cells where they can be oxidized to produce ATP, the body's main source of energy. Additionally, L-carnitine has been shown to improve exercise performance and recovery, as well as have potential benefits for heart health and brain function. While the body can produce L-carnitine naturally, supplementation may provide additional benefits for those with specific health conditions or dietary restrictions.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
