So, what is petit-lait partiellement démineralisé?
Petit-lait partiellement déminéralisé is a French term that refers to partially demineralized whey protein. This food ingredient is commonly used in a variety of food products, including infant formulas and sports nutrition supplements. The partial demineralization process removes some of the minerals found in whey, producing a product with a lower mineral content than regular whey protein. This makes it easier for the body to digest, absorb and utilize the protein. Additionally, this ingredient contains high levels of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are essential for muscle growth and repair.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
