So, what is leche condensada?
Leche Condensada, also known as sweetened condensed milk, is a thick and creamy dairy product made by removing most of the water from regular milk and adding sugar. With its rich and velvety texture, this ingredient is commonly used in Latin American desserts such as flan, tres leches cake, and dulce de leche. Its sweetness and caramel-like flavor make it an excellent addition to coffee, tea, or even as a drizzle over fresh fruit. Leche Condensada is a versatile and delicious ingredient that adds a unique touch to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
