So, what is levure de?
"Levure de" is a French term that translates to "yeast of." It refers to a type of yeast that is commonly used in baking and brewing to help dough rise and ferment. This particular type of yeast is often sold in dried form and is activated by mixing it with warm water or milk. Levure de is an essential ingredient in making bread, pastries, and other baked goods, as it provides the necessary leavening and flavor to the finished product. It is also used in the production of beer, wine, and other fermented beverages, giving them their characteristic taste and aroma.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
