So, what is litschi?
Litschi, also known as lychee, is a tropical fruit with a unique flavor profile that is both sweet and tangy. Native to Southern China, litschi is now grown in many parts of the world, including Southeast Asia and South America. The fruit is small and round, with a bumpy, reddish-pink exterior that is easily peeled away to reveal a translucent white flesh. Litschi is low in calories and high in vitamin C, making it a nutritious addition to any diet. Its sweet, floral flavor makes it a popular ingredient in desserts, cocktails, and fruit salads.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
