So, what is llet pasteuritzada?

"Llet pasteuritzada" is a Catalan term for "pasteurized milk." This process involves heating raw milk to a specific temperature and holding it there for a set time to kill any harmful bacteria, while retaining most of the milk's nutritional value. Pasteurization also improves milk's shelf-life, making it safer for consumption. Unlike raw milk, which can contain pathogens that cause foodborne illnesses, pasteurized milk is considered safe for everyone. It is a versatile ingredient used in many recipes like desserts, sauces, soups or as a refreshing drink, and is available in various fat content levels to suit different preferences.
