So, what is chamomile flower?
Chamomile flowers are small, daisy-like flowers with a sweet, apple-like scent that have been used for centuries in traditional medicine and herbal remedies. These delicate flowers are native to Europe and western Asia, but are now grown in many parts of the world. Chamomile flowers contain natural compounds that are thought to have anti-inflammatory and relaxing properties, making them a popular ingredient in teas, essential oils, and skincare products. Chamomile tea, made by steeping the flowers in hot water, is known for its calming effects and is often consumed before bedtime to promote relaxation and restful sleep. The flowers can also be used topically in creams and ointments to soothe skin irritation and promote healing.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
