So, what is majoránka?
Majoránka, also known as marjoram, is a fragrant herb that belongs to the mint family. It is commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine for its delicate, slightly sweet flavor and aroma. Majoránka has a subtle taste reminiscent of thyme and oregano, with notes of pine and citrus. Its leaves are small and green, and can be used fresh or dried. This versatile herb is often featured in soups, stews, and sauces, and pairs well with meats, vegetables, and cheeses. In addition to its culinary uses, majoránka also has medicinal properties and is believed to aid digestion and promote relaxation.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
