So, what is weizenmehl?
Weizenmehl, also known as wheat flour, is a versatile ingredient used in a wide variety of culinary applications. Made by milling the endosperm of wheat kernels, Weizenmehl is a finely textured powder that is perfect for baking bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods. This high-gluten flour has excellent elasticity and provides structure to baked goods, resulting in a chewy, firm texture. Weizenmehl is also an excellent thickening agent for soups, sauces, and gravies. It is an excellent source of carbohydrates, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals, making it a nutritious choice for a healthy diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
