So, what is mléčnan vápenatý?
Mléčnan vápenatý, commonly known as calcium lactate, is a white crystalline salt that occurs naturally in milk and is used as a food additive. It has a slightly acidic taste and is often added to foods as a firming agent or for its calcium content. Calcium lactate is also used in the production of cheese, where it helps to improve the texture and enhance the flavor. In addition to its culinary uses, calcium lactate is also used in medical and pharmaceutical applications due to its ability to neutralize acids and act as a buffering agent.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
