So, what is mollusques<?
Mollusques, also known as mollusks, are a diverse group of invertebrate animals with soft, unsegmented bodies that are typically enclosed in a hard shell. They are found in both freshwater and saltwater environments and include well-known species such as oysters, clams, mussels, and snails. Mollusques are a rich source of protein, vitamins, and minerals, making them a popular food ingredient in many cultures. They can be cooked in a variety of ways, including steaming, grilling, frying, and baking, and are often used in soups, stews, and seafood dishes. However, some mollusques, such as certain types of clams, can be harmful if not prepared correctly, so it is important to follow proper food safety guidelines when handling and cooking them.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
