So, what is naranče?
Naranče, also known as bitter oranges, are a citrus fruit with a distinct tart flavor and fragrant aroma. These oranges have a rough and bumpy exterior with a bright orange color when fully ripe. They are commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine, particularly in marmalades, sauces, and marinades. Naranče are also used to make the iconic and refreshing drink, Campari, and are a key ingredient in various liqueurs like Triple Sec and Curaçao. The peel of naranče is often dried and used as a spice in many dishes, providing a zesty and floral flavor that enhances any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
