So, what is noix coco séchée?
Noix coco séchée, or dried coconut flakes in English, is a delicious and versatile ingredient that can add a tropical twist to any dish. These thin, crispy flakes are made by removing the outer shell and then drying the white flesh of the coconut. The resulting flakes are rich in healthy fats, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals. They have a slightly sweet, nutty flavor that can be used to enhance the taste and texture of baked goods, granolas, curries, and even smoothies. Noix coco séchée is also a popular snack on its own, providing a satisfying crunch and tropical flavor.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
