So, what is nước?
Nước is a Vietnamese word that translates to "water" in English. In Vietnamese cuisine, it is commonly used as a base for soups, dipping sauces, and marinades. Nước chấm, a popular dipping sauce made with nước, fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, chili, and garlic, is often served with spring rolls, grilled meats, and salads. Nước mắm, another sauce made with nước and fermented fish sauce, is a key ingredient in many traditional Vietnamese dishes. Nước is an essential ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine, providing a refreshing and flavorful element to dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
