So, what is olajbogyó?
Olajbogyó, also known as "oil berry," is a small fruit native to Hungary that grows on the dog rose plant. With a deep crimson color and a tangy, slightly sweet flavor, this superfood is loaded with vitamins C, A, and E, as well as antioxidants like lycopene and beta-carotene. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to soothe sore throats and boost immunity. Olajbogyó can be enjoyed fresh, dried, or made into jams and syrups, making it a versatile ingredient that adds both flavor and nutrition to a variety of dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
