So, what is ориз?
Oриз, also known as rice, is a staple food item that has been consumed for thousands of years. It is a type of grain that grows in paddies flooded with water, primarily in Asia, but now cultivated worldwide. Rice is versatile and can be prepared in various ways, from boiling to frying, serving as a base for numerous dishes like sushi, risotto, or pilaf. It comes in different colors and varieties, including white and brown, short-grain and long-grain, jasmine, basmati, and wild rice, all with unique textures and flavors. Rice is a gluten-free grain high in carbohydrates, providing energy and essential nutrients such as thiamine and manganese.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
